The psychological foundations and practical skills for Family Court work

A one-day immersive, case-based training giving Family Court professionals an integrated developmental and psychological framework for understanding and working with children.

Learn how to understand behaviour and developmental needs, engage children effectively, explore children’s views, work with children who are difficult to reach, recognise vulnerability and risk, and apply developmental thinking to care, contact, transitions and safety.

Participants leave with a comprehensive course manual and practical toolkit of frameworks, approaches and resources that can be used immediately in everyday practice.
